Impulse Control Log
IMPULSE CONTROL LOG
1.SELF-INJURY THOUGHTS: CUTTING CUTTING CUTTING......REALLY FREAKING BAD. 2.TIME AND DATE: Monday, 11:42 3.LOCATION: Livingroom 4.SITUATION: Overwhelmed with freaking emotions, I need to see Terry, but that aint freaking happening anytime soon, I feel like I have no control over my mouth and my actions, I'm not even ME anymore.... 5.FEELING: Indescribable how I'm feeling..... 6.WHAT WOULD BE THE RESULT OF SELF-INJURY? Feeling in control of myself again. 7. WHAT WOULD I BE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY SELF-INJURY? I can control that, even if I can't control anything else in my life. 8.ACTION TAKEN: I don't know yet. 9.COMMENTS:

When you get overwhelmed you don't have to do an action to get rid of the feelings. What about journaling them out? What is so scary about feeling to you? 7. WHAT WOULD I BE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY SELF-INJURY? I can control that, even if I can't control anything else in my life. Really? Can you stop anytime you want to? Who is control? The razor or you? Seems to me like the razor is in control of Nochy...... I don't see you in control of cutting or your self injury at all. 8.ACTION TAKEN: I don't know yet. Keep breathing and talking. I'm glad you came here....... Keep talking until you are okay....  9.COMMENTS: It's going to be okay...... Your going to be okay.....

You'll be amazed at what a therapist can do for you....... it is the best gift you can give yourself..... If I lived closer I'd bring your little butt down to one.
