Yeah, I know, that was soooo sad. =[ I was really upset when i seen that on the tv. They should be ashamed to be blaming her for something like that! They are just looking for money. I think they should have let the family keep the dog, especially for the kids, they were attached to it, and that causes more than 1 person to be upset, over something so rational.
