What is this?
I have had this problem ever since I can remember....
I occasionally have moments where I can't control my legs....they will give out on me and I'll collapse on the floor. Kinda like a mini seizure I guess. My head gets really really dizzy and whenever I try to walk, my legs continue to give out. It's not scary to me anymore. It use to be worse, where my whole body would convulse. I have no idea what it is. I don't consider it life threatening...but still it would be nice to know why I do this. Today it happened. I was outside and all the sudden I collapsed and I had to try to walk all the way to the chairs. It was really hard...I kept convulsing and stuff. But once I sat down I only convulsed a few more times....then it stopped. It's really weird. Maybe it's my diabetes I dunno. |

Do you hyperextend your legs?
You need to go to the doctor irregardless of what we say, cuz you nor we don't know if it's life threatening my dear....' And you also really should tell your parents, but... |

i had the saem prob for a while.. when i was in band and at band camp i was in pit so i played the gong, base drum, shaker, crash symbols, and other things.. and there were bells to.
any way, in practice we had to stand in one spot for long periods of time. (yes we did get breaks) but my legs would lock up and i had to move my legs every so often.. and when ever i would walk my legs would woble and such.. but a few days past and it went away.. but yeah, like DWI said, it would be best if you see a doctor about this..

I have noticed that it seems to happen whenever my blood sugar drops dramatically.
The last 2 times it has happened my blood sugars were in the 20s...they're supposed to be between 80 and 120. So I'm thinking it happens when it drops suddenly, and I start to have a mini seizure or something. |

Really sounds like anxiety attacks to me but as mentioned only your doctor can diagnose you properly. With your diabetes you may need to get your meds checked as well so your blood sugars remain stable and not found as the cause for these attacks.
