the only thing i know of a kissing disease is something called mono. you can get mono from kissing. i dont know how it can be trasnfered. the best thing to do is to try and stay healthy. wear you coat outside (if it's cold and snowing there) and do what you can to stay healthy

Yeah, back in my day we called it the kissing disease. Like RC said it's called mono ( mononucleosis) .. I got it at 16 but not from kissing, LOL, really! You can catch it off people who have it like I did from drinking after them from a straw or soda can. It makes you very tired, your throat hurts and it takes a very long time to go away. ( 6 weeks on average), however if you don't let it naturally take it's course and it gets very bad you can have flare ups over it resulting in Ebstein Barr ( it's part of that virus) as an adult.

i remember coming home very sick from band camp. our family dr. sid it was either mono or a bacteria enfection. i was sleeping every hour just about and what scared me was when i heard my mom walk in her room (i was passed out in their bed) and i felt her put her fingers on my wrist checking my puls. i think i must of scard her cause i wasn't moving an inch.. turns out it was a bacteria enfection and it toke about a week or so for the whole thing to get out of my body.

I haven't heard about this 'mono' virus before. It's funny that now I got more conscious about kissing my boyfriend.
