kidney stone

so yup. i didnt learn my lesson. i woke up with god awful pain in my right side then pain in y lower groin. i tried takin soe pain meds, takin a hot bath and other things. i called my mom (who was up in cleveland ohio) and told her what was wrong. she told me to have steph take me to the emergency room. (this was about 10 am when i woke up) i can't even sit still with out being in pain. the car ride there was painful enough. when we got there i thought i was going to have to wait a long time but i didn't.

they asked me how i would rate the pain and i said 12. i had to wait a little bit for one of those little rooms to open up to go back. which wasn't long. i laid on the bed in pain before one of the dr's. got in back to ask me what was wrong. i told him and he told me that a nurse would be in to give me an iv and such. the nurse came in and asked me if i wanted to watch the osu vs toledo game cause i was gonna be there for a while. i told her yeah. so i had to wait for the iv to get in me and i had to drink this milk stuff don't know what it was. but it tasted bad. i had to drink it all for a urine test. around this time my mom and steph came in the backroom and talked for a little bit. steph had t soon leave to get ready for work and my mom had to take of some stuff. i had to get a catscan and was wheeled off to there. there told me what was going to happen and one of the nurses said they had to give me an enama for something but don't remember for what. it sucked bad.. that toke a little bit and was wheeled back to the little room and that was when i had to give the urine test. about 5 minutes later my mom came in and asked what has happened and told her i was waiting for the results. the dr soon came in and said it was a kidney stone. and also about something on my right side to keep an eye on.

the dr also gave me a note to have today and tomorrow off of work. i got some meds for pain, nausea, and something else. i will keep you guys updated

Wow. That must have been frightening for you. Hope you're doing ok. Are you going to need an operation?

well i had a kidney stone already so i know how it feels. as for surgery, nope. the dr said it's small enough to pass. but just said to keep an eye on myright side cause they saw something but weren't to sure.. i have insurance from my work (only for the season) and i got something from the hospital to get some help to pay for the bills since i only have so much

Goodness gracious, I hope you get to feelin better soon.
Glad it was just a small one though. Can you get any tests
or anything done for the mystery on your right side?

i think the dr said it was something white. i really didnt catch what he was saying. he just said to keep an eye on it and come in for a follow up in the next few weeks.

Oh man Jon, I'm sorry to hear you got ANOTHER one! I hope it passes soon but know that's
nothing to look forward to. You and my daughter both are so young to have those.

thanks guys. ive been doing a little better. but for some reason having to pee a lot. sometimes i feel like i have to go bad but when i got to the bathroom i hardly pee..

and what's a little funny to me is the day i went in the hospital and came out, my dad came home a little upset with my mom because she didnt answer her phone. he asked him why he was upset. he said because he was worried about me. which i find a little hard to believe
