work update

so i bet some of you are wondering how work has been for me. well here's my updat:

a week or so ago: i ws at the wave pool at it was about 2:00 ish i was pretty much bored but we were busy. we have parts of the wave pool called "north wall, south wall, east bech, west beach" and so on. we i was on east bech checking the heights of the little kids of they need a life jacket or not. i had this mom told that there was a little kid goin to the bath room (number 2) on the beach of the wave pool. i thenhad to singel to the other person on the west part of the bech to close the wave pool. we singel to the other guards on the walls of the wave pool. i saw the kid who went to the bath room walk back in the pool and i tried to get him out. he soon got out when he saw every one else getting out. he thought he was going to do it again but i caught him and told him to go to the bathroom. the kid had to been about 4 or 5. his arents werent even around. and our rule at the water park is, if you see it, you clean it up. so YOURS TRULY had to clean it up. i was so grossed out by it.. my manager saw me walkng back to the first aid room with a secon biohazard bag and she said after i take that to first aid, i can go on break. i scrubed my hands so hard i to the point where i knew they were clean. after my break i was on west beach and i was there for 3 hours. we are suppose to rotate every 30 minutes or 45 minutes. so we finally rotated and a bout 30 minutes later our the night crew came in.

on saturday: (i think it was) the day was pretty good. till afternoon hit. i was on the wave pool (no bathroom mess to clean up) but here's what happened. two people were on a raft and they were getting cloe to the ropes and one of the guards hit the E-brake (emergancy break) and wait till they got back. well they had trouble to he jumped in and helped them back, i was on the beach and we had another save, about 2 guards and a head guard jumped in to help the person, i was on the west beach and there was another save, a long whistle (meaning going in to save someone) was blown at pro bolw (our most dangerous slide there) and a head guard went to jump ove the fence around it and end up landing on his knee and messing it up, one gaurd got sick becuase of the chemicals in the pool, and someone was taken away in a ambulence.. so that day was pretty much hell for us.

and im getting really close to putting in my 2 weeks notice. the night crew is suppose to be before 5:00 and signed up for a spot. and be at their spot before 5:00 or 5:05. well i either get relieved late, or they for get im there. they have done this to me about 3-4 times in a row and im getting pissed. im getting close to talking to one of the managers about this because this is wrong! some people should be getting writen up or talked to about them not doing their job right

Oh wow RC, thats pretty gross. The kids' parents should have been watching him if he was that young. Maybe talking to a manager would help, you never know.
