A pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self Impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating) Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days) Chronic feelings of emptiness Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights) Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms I think this may be what I have....I have almost all the symptoms. But I'm too afraid to ask the doctor. |

Don't try and go diagnosing yourself. Only a proper professional can do that after some tests and therapy.

Going to a doctor may be frightening, but wouldn't you feel better having some peace of mind and knowing for sure whats going on?

If you don't feel comfortable talking to the doctor you're seeing then ask for another and address your concerns okay? If I read enough of the DSM I have tons of disorders! LOL, so don't worry okay, I think you're just highly stressed over finding yourself and I promise you, you will, just keep moving in the positive direction! *hugs*
