I got a tattoo! :)
So here it is, my "first" professional tattoo.
I have a real first tattoo, but it wasn't done by a professional. It was done by a friend with a tattoo gun. haha. Here it is!

What's it mean to you? Gosh I hope that your friend had a well sterilized gun. A friend of mines daughter (12) went to some "pro" to have her upper ear lobe pierced in the cartlidge, 2 weeks later she got out of the hospital, surgery on her ear, her ear is disfigured for life now... if you get any sign of infection you go straight to the ER okay? But I hope it will all be fine and glad you are tickled, I'm still debating 10 years later about getting an elephant on my ankle, but with all the horror stories from friends lately to scared, but thinking I want my Grand babies name now..

It's a little musical eighth note. Music has been such a big part of my life, especially with the healing and recovery aspects of my addictions. I play different instruments and I listen to a big variety of music. I'm always going to love it and that's why I got in my favorite color-Red! Plus I got it in an inconspicuous area, where my hair covers it. The artist who did it took a new needle, still in the packaging out of an autoclave, which I know it's sterilized. She went through like three pairs of gloves, which I thought was odd for just a tiny tattoo that took all of like 5 minutes. But she was very professional about it and gave me bacitracin for after care and she also gave me a sheet on how to take care of it.
My first tattoo, he had new needles which came with his gun when he bought it. But you can tell it's not a professional tattoo. It's all crooked, but for some odd reason I still like it, it's nostalgic for me. Sentimental meaning. It's been probably a good 4 years since he did it, and I've been tested since than. When Tom and I first became "active" we went to the health center on campus and we got STD tests. It was one of our first dates. Haha.

I thought it was a music note! But was afraid to ask. LOL I'm glad you're happy with it and it was done in a safe manner. Does it sting still?

Not at all. It did right after she got done with it, but now it doesn't at all.
Really I thought it was going to be much worse than it really was. It's more annoying than anything.

My first tattoo was that of a heartagram. It's really pretty crappy. It's starting to fade already, but I like it. If you get one, it really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

I'm a type II diabetic, I don't know what type you have; but I was told by the artist that it really doesn't have any effect. Of course if you're type I things could be different. The only thing I noticed is that I worked myself up for it and my sugar started to drop, so afterward I had to eat.

I like it
What are some instruments that you play? I know how you feel, a few of my friends have the guns to do it, and I told them they could do little ones. Its more sentimental for me. So unless its like a sleeve or something big, having it all crooked and what not would just make it that much better. :] Chy- Dont ever think it! Everyone is different when it comes to tattoos. One mans horror story could be another mans happy? story. If you really want one or two or three (everyone says theyre addicting) just check the place out with a few different people or sites and make sure they really are good and real professionals. :]

I play the Violin, Piano, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Dbl. Seconds. I love music, so my tattoo really is very sentimental to me.
