Confused and technologically impaired
What the heck is WiFi?
I just bought a MacBook and have been told that it has WiFi built into it and I have no idea what it is.
Is it different from a standard modem?
Help.

oooo yaaay you got a macbook...you wont be disappointed.. atleast I hope you arent. I have one and I love it. I believe wifi is a form of wireless internet however do not take my word for that.
