Popping in late on this thread..............but got my first taste of Veggiemite on my very first trip down under many years ago to my beloved Alice (Alice Springs) and I enjoyed it then and still like it to this day.

Must say though you can use a lot less of it on a slice of toast than say peanut butter. lol and yes for those not raised down under it is an acquired taste. Something along the lines of Scotch Whiskey, either you love it or hate it, doesn't seem to be any in between.
