Is it true that if you were addicted to alcohol and got sober, stayed sober that your liver and brain would start to heal? Like it'd repair all the damage you did to it?

It depends really for the most part yes your body starts to heal. If young when starting though it can cause permanent damage to the brain as up to the age of around 18 or so your brain is still developing messing with chemical substances can alter that brain development. With alcohol depending on how much, how often and how long the liver may or may not heal and many can still suffer cirrhosis long after quiting.
