one day at a time

Hey everyone,
my name is dave and im an addict, i used cocaine and oxycontin for about a year before i got clean this time, i was arrested in december 08 and after i was finished with the jails and institutions resulting i was released from rehab and used the very same day july 03 09. that is just short of two months ago and im feeling great. i find aa and na very helpful, go to a meeting every day, and am building some semblence of a recovery network. the most important thing ive found though is to take each day as it comes, to treasure the moment and live in the present, i constantly find myself trying to live in the future by worrying about tomorrow or next year, or trying to live in the past by welcoming guilt into my life, but thats just what it is, trying to live, instead of living, today im sober and know that there really is true happiness in this world, greater than anything a drug could give, i see it all around me and so could you, if you choose to, one day at a time, please feel free to share any comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc. thnx and im glad i stumbled upon this site
