i just sat here, nodding.
im glad i stopped so now i can spend all my money on scar removal and all...real fun :\ i know its true though. i didnt notice the things i did. i just automatically would look at people wrists and thighs and see their skin. i hate the scars.

It is almost like an out of body thing to read that. Being sober is so different, it is blackand white. It is almost like that is a different person. It is very hard to read. It is triggering to want to be like that even though it is depicted in a relativly negative light. Thanks for posting this though. It is so nice to not feel alone. All the posts here make you feel less like a freak.

yep i totally agree with this post...
And i totally know what it is to feel like your so different from everyone else...espically in the summer where everyone is wearing shorts, t-shirts etc... and i am wearing long sleeves, baggy jeans and stuf...

It takes courage to battle your weakness. And if your weakness is cutting or harming yourself, then better read this post over and over again and figure out something good for yourself. Life is only given once and could not be taken back if you lose it so don't ever let it slip easily away.
