happy birthday to me!!
today just might have been one of the ****tiest days of my life, which is weird becuase its my 16th birthday!? my parents announced that they werent letting me do anything for my birthday. this means not going out or having anything at home. the at home thing didnt really bother me, but me not being aloud out? thats insane! so i decided i was going out anyways...long story short it tuned into a HUGE deal. all of a sudden i was being yelled at from my mom who was at my friends door screaming. after about an hour of her screaming at the door my friends mom came home and let my mom in. (perfect timing) so my mom litterally draged me home. when i got home my mom went even more nuts. i went to go call my friend kerry becuase i didnt really wanna leave her hanging without knowing what happend. and while i was doing that my mom ran over a hit me...alot. i ended up with a fat lip. more beautiful timing...my dad comes home after the big fight and my mom goes "i cant believe you did that i cant believe you hit me" and as anyone did, my dad automatically took her side.
anyways..the point to this thread is i need a bit of adive. i have about 20384 perfect opprotunities to get out of my house...but i dont know if thats such a good idea. i just dont know? |

Oh wow, I'm so sorry this is how your birthday is turning out. I can't tell you what to do except perhaps let everyone cool off for a bit and see if they will reconsider. Me, personally, I'd go and say "I don't understand why your so mad, I'm sorry for whatever reason it is. Can we compromise a little on my birthday though?" "Can I go out with your permission for just a little while with my friends, or can some come over?" Something to that effect. Don't come across as defense as that will back fire. NO ONE deserves to be hit and right now I'm a little hot she whacked ya, but if your agenda is to go out for your birthday, then be on a neutral field not apologizing but just see if they'll listen for a moment. I can't imagine them denying you a littel fun on your birthday, but like I said, let them cool off for a bit, let yourself cool off and see what happens. I'm sorry kiddo. Happy 16th Birthday anyway!
:sparkling heart:

HAPPY SWEET 16 :Cheerlead I'm sorry your birthday wasn't what you had hoped for. If your mom hit you hard enough, bad enough, etc. to give you a fat lip then, I'd say you should talk to someone about getting out of the house. No one has the right to hit you like that, esp. your parents. You say you have other places to go right? Have you talked to your parents about that? What do they say?
