I've always had insomnia,
but it seems worse.

I am so hyper right now.


Who else had problems sleeping after they quit?
How long did it take to before it evened out?

I read last week that it can take up to 10 years for a meth user to get back to normal. I so hope that isn't true for me........

I know what you mean! I havnt slept properly for...4 or 5 years. Ever since I started using and staying out, the onlt sleep Ive got in the past years is from passing out. Hope it gets better for me.
Do you know how long it is for a heroin user? Thats a long time.

No, I haven't read much about the effects on heroin and what it effects it has, but I'll do some research for you and see what I can find.

I hope it gets better for you, I guess it may varie for different Meth users? Kepp trying, what about those aromotherapy thingys? They might help you get to sleep? If it gets really bad you should talk to your GP or somthing?

Yea, I have some prescription sleeping pills, I just forget and hate taking them. Although, that's just dumb, cause I never sleep when I don't.

Or I do for two hours like tonight, and then have a horrilbe dream, and I'm back up.

What about dogpile? or I think it's mamma.com? or copernic is good? or alta vista? they are all pretty good ones.

I have a lavener filled beaded pillow that a friend got for me, I should use it more.

I did say I would try the yoga thing again this week too.....

I'll look around for you the next couple of days and see what I can find out about heroin recovery and sleep stuff....

OMG, You were up all night? Poor baby. Damn that so sucks. Get you some melatonin. ASAP. Cheap and it's at any pharamacy and non-addictive. See if that helps if you haven't already tried. I finally got me some unisom, took two nights and I'm back on track...except the 2 a.m. wake up .. so sucks..

I've heard that before, I've never tried it though. Have you tried it?

I really need to remember to go get some
of this melatonin.

I find this insomnia that I'm having so odd.
It's so bad. Two weeks now.
At least this is a good week, unlike last week.

Although, The positive side of all this.......

Ya know when you have one of those

I had some major flashbacks tonight of
the nights of the
"Meth Insomnia"

Oh gawd was it Different.
Horrible, Lonely, Sad, Scared Nights.

I used to go out of my mind and had to
get up and go for a walk.

It's not safe to do that around here.
But I didn't care,
I remember hoping someone would
just do something to me and
put me out of my misery for good.


At least now I can stay up
and make stuff and watch

"Blue Crush"
&
"Coyate Ugly"

Maybe my H.P. or someone up there is
giving me this insomnia to make
me realize that I really don't miss
the Meth, like I think I do.
or something like that.

Remembering some of the situations
I was putting myself in,

at 4 a.m.
That is insane.
I got an Angel on my shoulder or something.


Maybe I'll sleep after they get my mom's test results back.
